Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Business Analyst in a development environment.
• Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with customers to gain an understanding of their needs and the ability to gather and analyze business processes and software requirements to assemble requirement reports and map processes.
• Must have strong understanding of standard Systems Development Lifecycle Methodology and concept of adhering to standards.
• Must be familiar with UML concepts and concepts of object oriented environments.
• Must have knowledge of Internet based solutions. ASP or .NET environment preferred.
• Must have familiarity with applications involving relational databases in the client-server/thin client environment.
• Must be familiar with documentation and diagramming software tools.
** Sharepoint, Portal and Content Management is a plus.
Responsibilities:
• Develop Project Charters and Scope Statements
• Perform Gap Analysis
• Capture and document Business Requirements Documentation
• Develop Functional Requirements Documentation
• Assist in the development of customer requirements and understand weights of requirements, research and analyze vendor solutions, contrast and compare vendor solutions against customer requirements.
• Perform Traceability Matrix
• Develop Requests for Proposals (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFP)
• Participate in Test QA process
• Participate in software application training

The Business Analyst, Senior's primary responsibility is to develop a clear understanding of the functions and business processes for the purpose of documenting business needs in the form of requirements. These requirements are inclusive of Business and Functional Requirements documentation. The Business Analyst will dissect and document business processes, examine interfacing systems, seek solutions and process improvements for manual processes and document ways that emerging technologies can benefit the customer. |
