| Requirements: |
·Plan, install and maintain SQL-Server databases on Windows
operating system with an enterprise wide focus.
·Plan and implement methods and procedures to ensure the
security, integrity and recovery of SQL-Server databases.
·Ensure that the databases meet the performance and availability
requirements of the application.
·Monitor/tune database resources using supplied tools.
·Ability to write scripts or implement methods to supplement gaps
in monitoring and alerting tools.
·Use/develop automation techniques and tools to increase
productivity and streamline procedures.
·Provide 24X7 on-call support on a rotation basis.
·Provide technical support to developers, application support
personnel, operations, and vendors where needed.
·Develop, review, document, and enforce standard database
practices and procedures.
·Provide troubleshooting and problem assistance as required.
·Provide/receive cross training with/from team members where
applicable.

Required Qualifications:
·Minimum 5 years SQL-Server database administration managing
multiple mission-critical SQL Servers.
·SQL-Server 2005 experience.
·Experience managing SQL-Server in a clustered environment.
·Windows administration experience.
·BS Computer Science or related field.
·MCDBA Certification
Desirable Qualifications:
·Experience with BMC SQL-Backtrack.
·Experience with SQL Server Replication and log shipping.
